Description

Soviet leaders Red Square, Moscow, USSR celebrating the second anniversary of the October Revolution. The image is altered by removing supposed enemies of the Soviet state. Removed are Trotsky Two people over to Lenin's left, wearing glasses and giving a salute. At this time Trotsky was a still a powerful figure in Russia and held the powerful chairman of the Supreme Military Council position. Also removed are two men over on Lenin's right, Lev Kamenev another of Stalin's opponents and another bearded figure, Khalatov, below the boy in front of Trotsky was taken out.
