[edit] Ganguly image
Hello Soumyasch,
I've tagged the image you just uploaded, Image:Sourav.jpg, as having no source information. Every information has to say where you got it from. This is so that others can check that your claim that the image is in the public domain is true. Images without a source will be deleted after seven days. Thanks,
Stephen Turner (Talk) 15:27, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for putting the source, but I'm afraid it shows that the image is not public domain. I've listed it at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2006 February 8. Most images which you find on the web simply can't be used in Wikipedia because of copyright issues. It's a shame — the articles look much better with them — but that's the law. [edit] Sania Mirza
Hi, i've removed the images you added, as they lack source information. Also, I doubt if they are from a promotional kit. You may want to tag the images as no source or list them for deletion as they are inappropriate. Also, please do not replace well-sourced images. Please read WP:IUP for a better understanding. --Gurubrahma 18:05, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Xover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Xover.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 12:57, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alizée
Hi soum, you've done a lot of work on the Alizée article. The first step towards making a featured article (so that it might be featured on the front page) is to do a Wikipedia:Peer review. What do you think? jacoplane 21:43, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Seems a really good idea. Thanks for the suggestion. I will list this article in the peer review list. --Soumyasch 09:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

- It's great that you're approaching the edit conflict patiently, I can imagine you might have lost your temper. Keep up the good work. jacoplane 21:55, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry abt that. Neways, thanks for intervening. --Soumyasch 21:59, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- My actual intention in getting you to mediate was to get him to post on the talk page. I put two messages on his user talk page, but he didn't respond. Well, thats history now. Its good for all of us that the issue with the article got identified and rectified early. And yes, I apologize to you if that caused you any incovenience. --Soumyasch 22:07, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks
A big thank you for helping me and sending me a help sheet. Thanks again. On another note, I got blocked again a few minutes ago, quite frustating. - Piece (Piece Of Paradise) 14:03, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Referencing a museum exhibit
I am not sure if there is one right way as such - if it is for some factual data such as the date of the painting, uniqueness of the work etc., you can use that in the article and mention the reference as "from the blurb of museum exhibit XXXX" etc. However, a book reference would have more value in case there is a content dispute for the simple reason that several copies of the book would be available and it is easier to corroborate wht the book says, when compared to what the exhibit says. Hope I make sense, --Gurubrahma 06:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alizee and NPOV tag
Well done :-) I have done a further copyedit and have added the {{fact}} tag to various parts of the article that needs verifying, but have also now removed the NPOV tag. - Ta bu shi da yu 02:09, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Sienna_Guillory.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sienna_Guillory.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
