Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Cohort 4.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Thanks for uploading Image:Gaya's Next Top Student Cohort 4.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Cohort 4.jpg. The copy called Image:Cohort 4.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This has been done before, with varying results. Most hoaxes are marked for deletion within a few hours after they are created. Some Wikipedians suspect that the majority of hoaxes here are attempts to test the system. Kindly — do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia, and then to check to see how long they have been in place and, if possible, correct them. Please do not indiscriminately upload unrelated images on top of existing images, as you did with Image:Marsha.jpg. The pre-existing image was of a character from a comic strip, and you uploaded a screenshot of an unrelated celebrity webpage without checking the existing links to it, or updating the fair use rationale (which still stated that the image was from a comic). In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
