Souper Best Friends is a small group of naturally gifted sportsmen and women (aka Rossly) that compete and predominately win the lunchtime sport competitions at the Australian Science and Mathematics School. The current members of the group (in order of superiority) are: C-Mac, Rogg, Wooz, Brown, Linz, Marko, Viv, Minga, Jamo, Reggie Ray and Loz. The extremely gifted group of brooding young talent have often been described as perfection1 000 000 by their peers at their school. Souper Best Friends was created in late 2007 by Nicholas Camac, Ross Tieman and Aron Woosnam as they sat patiently in Sustainable Futures attempting to come up with a name for their reading group. Eventually the name came to them and Souper Best Friends was born. The immediate initiation of the inaugural members Shaun "Browny" Brown, Lindsay "Linz" Klein, Marko "Dev'd" Curcic and Sam Howell was imminent. However, Howell's days as a Souper Best Friend were limited. After extensive dogging took place in the early stages of the group's second year (2008), the Friend's Governing Council met behind closed doors to discuss the future of the flop (Sam). It was brought to the council's attention that Sam had not spending time with the group at all during lunch and recess, instead he opted to waste his days playing table tennis and trying to pick up. Due to this unruly behaviour, Sam was outlawed by the Souper Best Friends on the 3rd May 2008. It was early in 2008 that the Souper Best Friends inducted four new members in order to further strengthen the posse. Of course all entries had to possess fantastic sporting prowess and as such Vivian Kenny, Ming-Jen Ou, Matt Jamieson, Chris Regester and Lauren Brown (lady friend of C-Mack) were brought into the magical world of success via the Friends. Controversy shrouded the transfer of Regester from cellar dwellers "STC" in 2008. It was deemed by the governing council that Regester had much more to offer the group than Sam Howell so the direct swap was conducted. Souper Best Friends have tasted their fair share of success in the sporting world of Lunchtime Sport already having made their debut in 2007 in the Touch Football Competition. The Friends were robbed of a finals berth by shotty umpiring as they fell in the semi's. The highlight of the debut competition for the Souper Best Friends was the immediate impact of superstar Shaun Brown as he charged his way to a Best and Fairest and Top Try Scorer quinella in the Touch Football Competition. The Souper Best Friends moved forward in 2008 as they competed firstly in Cricket. Going the whole season undefeated they triumphed unanimously in the final of the staff team to win their first ever competition. Currently, the Friends are competing in lacrosse and volleyball where they remain undefeated in both. They sit top of the ladder in lacrosse and are due to commence their semi final later this week. Should be a cracker (aka 10-0 win to the Friends). New additions to the team are always welcome as long as they possess fantastic sporting ability and fill out a registration form with the group. Until we shall next meet........GO FRIENDS!!
