I AM DOING RESEARCH ON MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER MR.GEORGE LOEBS WHO ALONG WITH A MR. F. HAROLD STARTED THE CHEROKEE BREWING CO. IN ST. LOUIS, MO IN 1867. DURING MY RESEARCH, I FOUND TWO LETTERS WRITTEN BY A MR. HENRY LOEBS (SEC. AND TREAS) AND MR. JACOB LOEBS (PRESIDENT)OF THE SOUTHWESTERN BREWERY AND ICE COMPANY. ONE LETTER IS DATED JUNE 1, 1897. THIS BREWEY WAS LOCATED AT THE CORNER FRUIT AVENUE AND SANTE FE. R.R. THE LETTER IS SIGNED: YOUR NEPHEW AND COUSIN. THE PICTURE ON THE LETTER HEAD MATCHES THE PICTURE ON YOUR WEB SITE AND IS REFERRD AS THE "STOCK HOUSE".I ASSUME THAT MR. HENRY LOEBS AND MR. JACOB LOEBS PURCHASED THE BREWERY FROM MR.DON AND HARRY RANKIN.

AM LOOKING FOR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS BREWERY AFER MY ANCESTORS PURCHASED IT.
