In 2005, the National Park Service conducted a volume study of Lake Conemaugh (or, known by the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club as Conemaugh Lake) as it existed in the 1880s under the Club's ownership. This GIS study showed that in times of "high water", the lake had a perimeter of 6.404993 miles, and a volume of 14,017,749.03 tons.
