[edit] Proper name? (And, Victorians hogging the redirects)

Just wondering if anyone knows of the proper, official, pedants-r-us name for the freeway? I've noticed a slight problem where South-Eastern Freeway redirects to the page for the Monash Freeway in Melbourne. No fair, methinks, so I was thinking about making a disamb page at South-Eastern Freeway, and move this current page about the SA freeway to South-Eastern Freeway (South Australia). But it seems to me we should get the names "right" at the same time - like whether or not there's a hyphen in the name - to save trouble later on. Also, many people know more about the Wiki naming policy than myself. If no-one has any ideas in a week or so, I'll go ahead and do it. Unless someone beats me to it! Well spotted. I've made the disambig page using current article names. I don't know what the official name might be, but assumed this article was correct. More puzzling is exactly where the Adelaide end of the freeway is, and how the content currently here should be split with Adelaide-Crafers Highway. --Scott Davis Talk 01:20, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
The Adelaide-Crafers Highway commences just beyond the Glen Osmond/Greenhill/Cross Roads intersection. Parts of it that followed the old alignment are still technically 'Mount Barker Road'. The highway ends at the Crafers interchange, where the freeway continues on. michael talk 01:44, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
The confusion also being the fact that near the beginning of the Adelaide-Crafers Hwy there are all use usual begin freeway signs, and that it is restricted access (ie: entrances + exits) rather than free access like most highways. Perhaps its a technicality that will change in the future, and for the time being at least be explained in the articles...58.105.206.115 08:08, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No Sense

Why does this article have pictures of the Adelaide-Crafers Highway instead of the freeway? Top one is near eagle on the hill exit (outbound), bottom one is just past crafers (inbound). This makes noi sence, especailly considering some people are so keen on pointing out they are different roads. --TheJosh 09:21, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

And another photo of the Adelaide-Crafers Highway has been added... TheJosh 11:45, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
"No Sense". Because people haven't been able to photograph the freeway itself yet, so they're putting what they can in... michael talk 12:12, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Ill take some photos. TheJosh 05:14, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

The usual response to this would be {{sofixit}}. I have moved the text and photos to Adelaide-Crafers Highway now, to save you the effort. --Scott Davis Talk 12:54, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge

These two pages describe the same object, and have essentially the same content. I have proposed for merger, but don't know how to go about it any further ROxBo 22:04, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I support the merge, this article becoming the primary one. See Talk:Adelaide-Crafers Highway.--Yeti Hunter 23:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Since there has been no such discussion or activity in the past 9 months, the proposed merge is being erased from WP:PM. B.Wind (talk) 05:21, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
