The quality of this article is more than stub, but less than B-class. I therefore downgraded it in the former countries template as well. The main problem is with references and footnotes, of which there are neither. Thus B-class is not an option. Also the article lacks balance and needs to be brought in line with the article on Transvaal as well as with a new article on Transvaal Colony (1900-1910).
