The Soutsaka Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is an autonomous educational institute founded on December 2, 2002 to help meet the growing need for vocational and technical education as well as human resource development in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. SIMT operates based on a not-for-profit philosophy. SIMT is located in the center of Vientiane Municipality, Lao P.D.R. SIMT was accredited by the Lao Ministry of Education to offer Bachelor and higher Diploma degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Communication, Accounting, Language Studies and carry out research in related fields. It is the first educational institute in Laos to offer Communication Art program.
To meet the growing need of quality consulting services for the development of Laos, the Soutsaka Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) established its Consulting Division to provide professional consultancy services for public sector agencies, regional development agencies, and business community in Laos.
