Southwestern Academy is a nonprofit, college preparatory school for grades 6-12 in San Marino, California, USA. The school is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), and offers boarding and day enrollment for 165 boys and girls from sixth through twelfth grades, plus a year of postgraduate studies. It is unique among schools of its kind in that it also has a campus in northern Arizona, located on a ranch on Beaver Creek in the Coconino National Forest near Sedona, Arizona. Students may spend time at both suburban California and rural Arizona campuses. The school was founded in 1924 by Maurice Veronda, father of the current headmaster, Kenneth. It is sometimes known as "The Veronda School" and the school's motto is Pro Summo Bono.

The San Marino Campus occupies eight acres in a residental community adjoining Pasadena and ten miles from downtown Los Angeles. The Beaver Creek Campus covers 180 acres, twelve miles southeast of Sedona and 40 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona. Students at both campuses follow the same college prep curricula, and take advantage of their surrounding attractions for both studies and free-time activities.

Half the school's enrollment is international, and the other half from around the United States. The school has rigorous curriculum. All graduates go to a variety of American universities and colleges.
