Southwest R-1 School District is a small rural school near Ludlow Missouri. Superintendent is John Locker[citation needed].
There are 101 students currently attending the Elementary School (K-6), and 109 students presently enrolled in the High School (7-12). In total, there are 209 students[citation needed].
Southwest serves four local communities: Dawn, Ludlow, Mooresville and Utica and has been fully accredited by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education[citation needed].
