Southern Syncopaters is a jazz band playing songs from the 1920s. It started 1987 in Malmö, Sweden and is still active. The ten members has varied over the years though. The band has been performing at different festivals e.g at the Bix Beiderbecke memorial jazz festival Davenport, IA, US in 1994 and at the Jazz Festival in St Raphael on the French riviera several times, latest 2005. The band has recorded two CDs in its own name, the first 1994 called Happy Pal Stomp and the second 1999 called Feelin' No Pain.
