Southern Occitan

Southern Occitan (sud-occitan) is a group of Occitan dialects mostly spoken in Southern France. The dialects are Provençal (Provençau) and Lengadocian. Southern Occitan is spoken in the second-largest French city Marseilles (in Southern Occitan Marselha). Southern Occitan is spoken in large parts of Provence.
