The 2006-07 season was the 103rd in the history of the Southern League. The season began on 19 August 2006 and ended on 5 May 2007 with the play-offs finals.

Berkhamsted Town and Stourport Swifts were reprieved from relegation as the two teams in the relegation zones of the Midland and South & West Divisions with the highest points total due to space created by teams moving across to the restructured first divisions of the Northern Premier League and Lymington & New Milton (of the South & West Division) and Solihull Borough withdrawing from the league.[1]
