Southern Football League 1905-06

The 1905-06 Southern Football League season was the 12th in the history of the Southern League, a football competition in England. The League was comprised of future Football League sides and non-league clubs. The teams in the League were divided into First and Second Divisions.

[edit] Promotion and relegation

This season saw no First Division teams apply for election to the Football League, with no relegation but with Division Two champions Crystal Palace and second placed Leyton joining the Division. In the Second Division Southern United, Watford II and Grays United left the League at the end of the season; they were replaced by newly-elected Southend United, Tunbridge Wells Rangers, Salisbury City I, and Royal Engineers Aldershot.
