The Southern Cameroons national football team is not internationally recognized. It represents English-speaking peoples of the Southern Cameroons (now West Cameroun).

Southern Cameroons is neither a member of FIFA nor the CAF and does not participate in international tournaments. The goal of the Netherlands-based Southern Cameroons Football Association, which was formed in 2005 and controls the team, is to gain official status. They are provisional members of the New Federations Board, which organizes matches for non-official national teams. They played in the UNPO Cup on June 23th, 2005. The Southern Cameroons team played with Chechnya in a 30 minute match. The Chechens finally won the game on penalties. They initially intended to compete in the inaugural VIVA World Cup, but had to withdraw from all their matches.
