The Southern Brazilian Journal of Chemistry (ISSN 0104-5431, CODEN SBJCEO) is a Brazilian scientific journal in chemistry. It was founded in 1993 by Lavinel G. Ionescu at the Instituto de Química, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, who is also chief editor.
