Southeastern Conference (MHSAA)

The Michigan High School Athletic Association Southeastern Conference (MHSAA SEC) is a high school sports conference composed of eight schools (all public) in three different counties. The SEC is split into two divisions, Red and White, based on enrollment. The current members of the SEC are:

The SEC was formerly composed of seven schools throughout Washtenaw, Lenawee and Livingston County. Milan High School and Pinckney High School were also members (along with Saline, Chelsea, Dexter, Tecumseh, and Lincoln). Milan and Pinckney left in 1999; Milan moved to the Huron League (with Grosse Ile, Monroe-SM Catholic Central, Carleton Airport, Monroe Jefferson, New Boston Huron, Flat Rock, and Riverview); Pinckney moved to the Kensington Valley Conference (with Brighton, Highland-Milford, White Lake-Lakeland, Novi, South Lyon, Howell, and Hartland [as well as Howell Parker in 2007 and South Lyon East in 2008]).

In 2008, Ann Arbor Huron High School (green & gold, River Rats) will join the SEC. In 2009, the new Ann Arbor Skyline High School (Columbia blue & white, Eagles) and they also will join the SEC. Division alignments have not been determined.
