South Yorkshire Scout County (The Scout Association)

Scouting in South Yorkshire is a part of the Scout Association in the United Kingdom. It is a Scout Area that includes Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. The County Commissioner is Stephen Clapham.

The County is divided into 10 Scout Districts:-
- Sheffield Rivelin
- Sheffield Porter
- Sheffield Sheaf
- Sheffield Norfolk
- Sheffield Don
- Barnsley Pennine
- Barnsley Central
- Barnsley Fitzwilliam
- Rotherham
- Doncaster Danum
Doncaster Danum is the largest District in the County with 30 Scout Groups
The Doncaster Danum District has a Scout Band.

SGS Outdoors is a Scout Shop in Sheffield. There is also a Scout Shop in Doncaster with online access.

The County has five camp sites:-
- Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre, Chapeltown, Sheffield.
- Silverwood Campsite, Great Falls, Silkstone, Barnsley.
- Squirrel Wood Campsite, Burghwallis, Doncaster.
- Hundall Campsite, Sheffield nr Ridgeway
Hesley Wood is used for Wood Badge and other Adult Leader Training.
