South West Devon is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

The constituency is based around the south-western portion of Devon and includes the eastern part of the city of Plymouth, namely the suburbs of Plympton and Plymstock; as well as the town of Ivybridge and much of the South Hams. The remainder of Plymouth is not included in the constituency.

In September 2007 Luke Pollard was selected by the South West Devon Labour Party to stand against the incumbent MP Gary Streeter.
