South Shore League

The South Shore League is an athletics conference that is part of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletics Association, or more commonly known as the MIAA. The League consists of 8 schools, ranging from as far north as Hull, Massachusetts, to as far south as Harwich, Massachusetts. The South Shore League participates in Division 3 & 4 competition in the state of Massachusetts. There are 18 sports affiliated with the South Shore League.

Although the league is composed of these 8 teams, some teams choose not to participate in league play in certain sports due to a non-existent team, co-op program in other league, or more competitive league.
[edit] Co-Op's and League Changes
- Abington co-op's with East Bridgewater for hockey.
- Cohasset co-op's with Hull for multiple sports due to the two schools small enrollments and close proximatey.
- Mashpee co'ops with Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Bourne, MA for hockey.
- Carver co-op's with Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, MA for hockey.
- Harwich co-op's with Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Harwich, MA for football and also participated in the Mayflower League for football.
- Mashpee particpates in the Eastern Athletic Conference for winter track.
- Harwich recently ended a co-op deal with Provincetown High School for hockey.
- Mashpee is considering making a co-op deal with Cape Cod Academy in Osterville, MA for girl's golf in the spring.
