South San Francisco Station is a Bay Area Rapid Transit station located in South San Francisco, California. It consists of an underground island platform.

Service at this station began on June 22, 2003. [2] The station was part of the BART San Mateo County Extension that extended BART from Colma to Millbrae Station in Millbrae and to San Francisco International Airport.

El Camino High School is only a few steps away from the station, located on the opposite side of Mission Road. Roy's Delicatessen, a once-popular destination for El Camino High School students during lunch hour, used to be located where the BART station now exists.

Solaire Village, a 361-unit, mixed-use transit village including a Trader Joe's supermarket being built near the station has been accused of being very ugly although functional.[3]
