South Range, Wisconsin

South Range is an unincorporated community in Douglas County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. South Range is approximately 10 miles south of the city of Superior. Wisconsin Highway 35 and U.S. Routes 2 / 53 (co-signed) are the main arterial routes in the area.[1]

South Range is a populated (community) place (Class Code U6) located in Douglas County at latitude 46.608 and longitude -91.984. The elevation is 761 feet. South Range appears on the South Range U.S. Geological Survey Map. Douglas County is in the Central time zone (GMT -6).

South Range has residents that both work in the city of Superior and in South Range.

Amnicon Falls State Park is located east of South Range.

Pattison State Park, and the Pattison Park Golf Course are near South Range.

Four Corners Elementary school is in the area.
