South Park Elementary is a public elementary school in Victoria, British Columbia part of School District 61 Greater Victoria. It is currently conceived as an alternative primary school, with a focus on the arts and an emphasis on parent participation. As such, its catchment area comprises the whole Greater Victoria school district.
Built in 1894 in the Queen Anne style, it is the oldest school building in Western Canada still used as a school.
A recently released book titled South Park School: Memories through the Decades by Linda Picciotto and Debbie Marchand chronicles the history of the school from its forming in 1894 until 2007. Information about this book can be found at http://southparkbook.com.
