The South Moluccas national football team is the official football team for the South Moluccas. They aren't affiliated by FIFA or Asian Football Confederation, and therefore cannot compete for the FIFA World Cup or Asian Cup. They won the 2005 UNPO Cup beating in semifinals on penalties West Papua and in final 3-1 Chechnya.
