South Delta School District

The South Delta School District is a public school district based in Rolling Fork, Mississippi (USA).

The district serves all of Sharkey County (including the towns of Rolling Fork, Anguilla, and Cary) and most of Issaquena County (including the town of Mayersville).

There were a total of 1,268 students enrolled in the South Delta School District during the 2006-2007 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 52% female and 48% male. The racial makeup of the district was 95.27% African American, 4.10% White, and 0.63% Hispanic.[1] All of the district's students were eligible to receive free lunch.[2]
