South Dade Senior High School is secondary school located at 28401 SW 167th Ave in Homestead, Florida. The School was established in 1954 and is currently undergoing construction that effectively moves all facilities to new buildings on the former agriculture field.
South Dade High's athletic rival is Homestead High School
South Dade High School was formerly the home of the Rebels in the late 1950's, 1960s and early 1970s. The school was forced to change the school nickname because of political correctness. For a brief time, the school nickname became "Big Blue."
