South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) processes applications for entry into courses offered by a number of participating educational institutions in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
SATAC assesses and ranks candidates for courses based on both educational and non-educational qualifications. This order of merit is established according to the rules and guidelines provided by the institution offering the course.
SATAC also administers the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) which is a requirement for candidates applying for entry without a recent Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER). As well as administering STAT, SATAC is also charged with administering the International Student Admissions Test (ISAT) for international candidates applying to undertake a course at a participating institution.
