- The National Credit Act of South Africa came into effect this year on the 01 June 2007. This credit act was brought in due to South Africa's current problems with regards to loaning for credit to consumers. A major issue South Africans currently have is that loan sharks are lending out money to people at 30% interest. Banks are dishing out credit left right and centre and South Africans are falling into the debt trap. Wizard Fincial services has put together a portal which is now the number one online resource for South Africans. See South Africa's National Credit Act Portal |
