Soundmaster T is the pseudonym of Edward Terry, a Chicago-based rapper best known for his song "2 Much Booty (In Da Pants)." This song was featured in Week 1 of So You Think You Can Dance (Season 2) as well as on the soundtrack of Date Movie. [1] The Allmusic Guide calls the track a "significant contribution to the short-lived booty music craze" and notes its beat and lyrics as elements which spurred its success.

Terry has also done work as a producer.

Soundmaster T is back in the rap game with his newest singles like "Droked Out" and "Do It Like My Birthday". And now the "Do it Like My Birthday" Remix featuring Chicago's own Twista, Arrogant, Jah Rista, Dude N Nem & Teefa.

Soundmaster T is one of the few unsigned artists to be on B96's Top 9 at 9 countdown.

Soundmaster T has been quoted saying "This is my year!" 2008 Soundmaster T will be taking over America.
