Sound & Fury Records

Sound & Fury Records (usually written as sound&fury records) is an Australian-based record label founded in early 2006 as an offshoot of the now-defunct Surry Hills record store of the same name.
The label's initial intention was to release limited edition recordings of some of the many instore performances held at the shop. Its first two releases, live at sound&fury by experimental Newcastle sextet Castings and a CD-R by Portland noise/drone duo Yellow Swans (also called live at sound&fury) quickly sold out. It has since expanded into other formats, including vinyl LPs and 7" singles.
