Soummam Airport (IATA: BJAICAO: DAAE), also known as Soummam Airport, is an airport near Bejaia, Algeria. Soumman airport is also called Abane Ramdane. It is an international airport with more than 10 flights per week from/to Paris, France and some others to other french cities (Lyon and Marseille)during the low season and almost the double during the high season.There are also daily domestic flights mainly from/to Algiers.

August 20 marks two important events in Algerian history: the start of the Soummam Congress and the commemoration of the uprising in North-Constantinois in 1955. This date is celebrated annually in Soummam, but this year, the authorities were forced to move the event to Mascara, in the western part of Algeria.
