Category talk:South Korean spree killers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This would have content in it if weren't for Colemangracie constantly reverting the changes I made in Seung-Hui Cho. I'm sure I can settle this issue with him. --YegerMeister 21:10, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

The only content you had was Seung-Hui Cho, one person. That does not mean content. I replaced your Category with "Spree Killers" which as adequate content.Colemangracie 21:16, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

If that's the case categories such as Israeli rapists and South Korean serial killers should not exist for the same reason.--YegerMeister 21:26, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes and both are poor examples which should also be deleted. If you want to make a point, please find a good example.209.247.22.37 21:46, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

To quote from the speedy deletion criteria for categories:

"Empty categories (no articles or subcategories for at least four days) whose only content has consisted of links to parent categories."

This criteria does not define emty categories as those consisting of only one article, but of those consisting of only links to parent categores. And therefore the examples I cited are not empty categories, and neither is this category if the article on Seung-Hui Cho will be added to it.--YegerMeister 21:52, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Delete?

Not to sound rude, but why does this category even exist? It seems very, very specific, and it only has two entries. Unless someone broadens this category, or makes significant additions to it, I don't see why we should keep it. Marsofel 20:17, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Why does this page exist? If there were in fact a good number of South Korean spree killers, then it would be appropriate. I think this page has no point and I agree with the other user about deleting this article. Antictzn113 14:29, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
