alright. so my question is, on the images that are up for deletion, i have permission from the photographer, as well as the artists in them, to use this images. i also have an email stating just that from Greg Garcia, the photographer. i tried uploading them again and adding the info, but they still have tags. every picture that i have uploaded i have permission to use on here, or anywhere else. how can i get this straightened out and get the tags off? i have tried reading all that to get a tag on, but it makes no sense to me. thanks alot! - Unfortunately, in most cases images on Wikipedia can't just be allowed for Wikipedia, or even allowed to be copied - you need to get the photographer to state, explicitly, that he allows his work to be copied, and derivative works made, for any purpose. The easiest way to do this is to license it under both the GFDL and the Creative Commons license CC-BY-SA, and the easiest way to do that is for him to send an email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org that states "I am the creator of the following works (list the URLs of the photos here), and I agree for them to all be released under the GFDL and CC-BY-SA-3.0." Sorry about the huge inconvenience of it all (been going through something similar myself), but Wikimedia cracked down on non-free content in the past year, and so photos and other media must be as free (in the sense of being reusable) as possible.
