Sotnik

Sotnik (Russian: со́тник, Russian pronunciation: [ˈsotnʲɪk]) was a military rank in Russian Strelets Troops (1600s) and Imperial Cossack cavalry (since 1826), equivalent to Poruchik (Lieutenant). It means [commander] of hundred men in most Slavonic languages.
