Hiya. I was reading your comment on the Julia Caesaris talk page about writing a story that involves the emperor's daughter, and I thought it interesting that I was also writing something that features her as a main character. I was wondering if we could perhaps exchange what material we've developed so far, in hopes that we could both further our grasp of her character? --Jello 08:26, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hello there Jello. Thank you for taking the time out to bother to contact me on my talk page. I'd really like to exchange some ideas and what I have so far with you. I admit that most of what I got so far is probably far less developed then what you probably have, but nonetheless I'm game. My story starts with an introduction and then it starts with her birth and early life. I intend to split it into two parts, before and after her father is made emperor. I'm curious to learn more about your ideas and how you have developed your story. --Sophie-Lou 13:02, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

- Oh, it's no problem. I'm fascinated by the figures of the Augustan period, and I hope to do them the same credit that Colleen McCoullough has done to the late Republican figures in her novel series. I'd love to enchange details with you and work on ideas--how do you want to work this out? Do you use Instant Messaging?

- My story starts in 22 BCE (or, more properly, In the year of Arruntius and Marcellus –DCCXXI ab urbe condita :p). Julia would be about seventeen and her husband would've just died. It features some original characters, but the cast mostly consists of the imperial family and the figures around them, and I plan to feature as many authentic historical events as possible. Fortunately, there's a convenient gap in the written histories in the middle years of the Augustan Principate, which gives me a lot of room to play in. I still need to make sure I cover all the major historical events that pop in here and there, such as the riots in Roma around 22 BCE. It's hard sometimes to keep track of all that. --Jello 21:29, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, I have instant messaging. I prefer to use MSN and though I'm quite happy to use Yahoo, though I also have an AOL account I barely use it. I'd enjoy sharing ideas that I have about certain periods of time with you. I imagine that you probably have a better understanding of certain events then I (I also wish to try and use historical happenings as well as throw in my own ideas, what I need to know is where can I use my own ideas.) I not only want to play on what is happening at the time but also what is going on in Julia's head. What does she think and what she thinks could be done. Anyway, hopefully both our historical understandings of events at the time will help us understand everything better next time we talk. --Sophie-Lou 10:11, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

- Well, I've all three programs. That's not a problem. The next question, logically, is what your usernames are on those programs so I'd be able to contact you. :p --Jello 21:38, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sophie_hmc.JPG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sophie_hmc.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. The Sunshine Man 16:30, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

I feel I should advise you that an article you created, Henry Tudor (II), is currently being considered for deletion. PatGallacher (talk) 11:52, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
