[edit] Peacock terms
- "internationally recognized". So is gout. What point does this make?
- "distinctive contribution". In what way?
- "named to honor". As opposed to dishonor?
- "rich sources". Other libraries with less "rich" sources are less important?
- "and/or". Not really a peacock term, but more on the order of casual trendiness. Written by people who apparently don't have a copy of any common Manual of Style?
- "share a strong feminist perspective". So...it's hard to know where to start. There's "feminist", but that's different than "strong feminist"? The librarians have deleted any material that doesn't meet their politically correct standards?
If this article was written by representatives from Smith...shame on you.
