Please don't complain about or rearrange/retarget the order of these bands - as far as I know the first on my list have been around for 4 year longer than the other group, have more widely available material and (arguably) are slightly more accessible to the "mainstream", all of which have influenced the order in which I listed them.

Since I will probably aim several other (existing and new) pages at Sophia (indie rock band) directly for God Machine fans etc., please retain the genre identifiers if you edit this page.
