Sophie Vavasseur (born 1992) is an actress best known for her award-nominated role as Evelyn Doyle in the American-German-British-Irish film Evelyn.

Despite her youth she has appeared in films, onstage, and done a number of advertisements and voice-overs.

She has made four films to date. The first is Evelyn, in which she plays the title role (Pierce Brosnan's character's daughter). The second is Resident Evil: Apocalypse where she plays Charles Ashford's daughter (Angela "Angie" Ashford) who was the creator of the T-Virus. Film credits also include the IMAX film Twang and Reign of Fire starring Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale. On stage she recently appeared in Come On Over by Conor McPherson at The Gate Theatre. She also made an appearance in the last 2 episodes of the second series of Ghost Whisperer portraying one of the 5 'cursed' children.

In 2007, Vavasseur appeared in Becoming Jane, a movie based on a pre-fame Jane Austen; it was also announced that she would star in a new version of Charles Dickens's The Old Curiosity Shop.
