Sophie Grégoire (born April 24, 1975) is the wife of Justin Trudeau, son of late Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Grégoire and Trudeau's wedding ceremony took place in May 2005 in Montreal, Quebec.[1]

Grégoire is a former model and Quebec television host. She served Holt Renfrew as a personal shopper, though is now currently staying home on a leave of absence. On September 5, 2005, the CTV television network named her as the Quebec correspondent for its entertainment newsmagazine eTalk Daily where she explores celebrities' social and political activities.[2] According to Tracy Hanson, chief foreign correspondent at Global Reach News, "Sophie has much more to offer in the entertainment world's involvement in political and social causes. She can make a difference and bring a positive change as a reporter."

Recently Grégoire and husband Justin appeared on The Rick Mercer Report.

Grégoire has stated that she suffered from bulimia as a teenager and helps those who currently suffer from the disease.[3][4][5]

Sophie and Justin welcomed their first child, a boy named Xavier James, who was born October 18, 2007 in Montreal, Quebec. The baby weighed 4.14 kilograms (9 pounds, 2 ounces. Xavier James and Gregoire were on the cover of the Chatelaine magazine in June 2008's issue..[6].
