This is the discography of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, an English pop music singer. Ellis-Bextor has released three studio albums, ten singles, eleven music videos and one music DVD on Polydor Records and its sub-label Fascination Records.
Ellis-Bextor debuted in 1997 as frontwoman of the indie music group theaudience, whose single "I Know Enough (I Don't Get Enough)" reached the top twenty-five on the UK singles chart.[1] Her solo debut album Read My Lips was released in September 2001, and sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.[2] It produced three top five singles in the UK and won the Edison Award for "Best Dance Album" in 2003.[3]
Her second album Shoot from the Hip was released in October 2003. The album was considered a commercial failure, despite producing two top ten singles. Trip the Light Fantastic, Ellis-Bextor's third album, was released in May 2007. She is scheduled to release her fourth studio album in late 2008.[4]
