Sopa de pata

Sopa de pata is a hearty Salvadoran soup made from cow’s feet, tripe, yuca (manioc root), guisayotes (chayotes), elotes (sweet corn), platanos (bananas), and ejotes (string beans). It may be seasoned with hojas de alcapate ( Mexican coriander leaves) and flavored to taste with limón (lemon) or chile.
