[edit] Dragon World
Please see Talk:Dragon World dispute for your vote on whether we should keep the Human (Dragon World) article or have it merged into Dragon World. Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 15:35, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, you have less than 50 edits, so your vote doesn't matter, sorry.--SUIT 23:11, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

- Technically, neither does yours, because Wikipedia is not a democracy. "Survey" may be the wrong word for it, but the point is that major changes merit a discussion. Neither age nor seniority are a proper measure of intelligence or relative worth. So why don't you take your elitism and cram it where the sun don't shine? ;) --Son Goharotto 23:43, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --SUIT 02:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- I haven't attacked anybody. Well, except maybe you. But you didn't exactly endear yourself to me what with the "your vote doesn't matter" comment. I've been having fairly pleasant discussions with other users when it comes to editing content, particularly a few key DBZ articles.
- I've been contributing to Wikipedia for years; a little here, a little there. And I've seen what kind of nonsense goes on among the diehard users, which is why I've only just now opened a proper account. I hate unnecessary fuss. So I'd like to contribute what I can and keep a low profile.
- Why have you singled me out for the Big Brother routine? Should I be the one contacting administration, SUIT? Because I don't see how this situation can do anything but get uglier, which I would really prefer to avoid. We both have better things to do than get into pointless arguments. --Son Goharotto 14:36, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

- Fair enough. I apologize for the above comment, however, since it does seem rather mean.--SUIT 22:13, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

- Just to make sure all the bases are covered, I'd also like to apologize for "cram it" bit. I'm no angel, but the last thing I want is to make more enemies. There's a lot about the Wiki-system I haven't learned yet, so I hope to learn from my sempai. ^__^v --Son Goharotto 22:25, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Human (Dragon Ball)
It turns out that the article was merged into Earth (Dragon Ball). The reasons were pretty much given here-->[1]. Think we could work together and help restore the article to a pretty decent stub? I really feel that Human (Dragon Ball) deserves a proper article, ya know? --Power level (Dragon Ball) 16:55, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- I honestly can't think of anything else that would help make Human (Dragon Ball) a worthwhile article. Everything I've tried so far was shot down. And I'm sure it would just turn into another big argument. Sorry... --Son Goharotto 17:29, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

- I was reading edit histories and noticed this. Maybe you could...

- List differences between the humans from the Dragon Ball universe and the humans from our universe. This means more than mentioning that they often have different colored hair. A good idea would be to try to think of ways that they could be identified as a Dragon Ball human rather than one of us if you met one in real life.
- Dragon Ball mostly revolves around aliens (specifically saiyans), right? Writing about specific human contributions to the Dragon Ball universe would help the article tremendously.
- How is the human civilization in the Dragon Ball universe organized? What major cities are they gathered in? Is anything said about their culture in the series?
- Let's imagine that some bad guy in the series came and destroyed half the human population just because they were human. This would be a significant event that specifically has to do with the race. Has anything like that happened?

-
- Hopefully that helps. I'm also reverting the redirect because there was no consensus for it other than by Someguy0830; if there's content on the page, if the subject is notable, and if people object, there should be consensus among many people or a grace period given for improving the article. - All differences are mentioned. It's an isolated planet, so they've had none. There are many different species on the planet, so that belongs in the article it should be merged to (Earth (Dragon Ball)). All of the beings were killed off at various points and the planet was destroyed at one time, but those are all suited better to the other article or the plot summaries.

-
- There is no way to expand the article beyond adding cruft. What's on that page is pretty much it. Nemu 18:09, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

- "All of the beings were killed off at various points [...] but those are all suited better to the other article or the plot summaries."
- I disagree with that; things like that are very notable in the context of an article like this, in my opinion. If they're all killed off, it should be mentioned in an article about them.

- The problem is that these events are not specific to humans. They are shared by many different species on the planet (humanoid animals, goblin things, ect.). To mention it on both pages is just pointless. Nemu 18:21, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

- The only 'festival' of any significance featured in Dragon Ball is the Tenka'ichi Budokai, which has it's own article. Humans share their communities with all sorts of 'beast folk', from the biggest city to the smallest village. The only thing I haven't seen be mentioned is that the anthro population sees a drastic decline by the end of Z, and even that is information better suited to the Earth article. I'm sorry to say this is looking like a lost cause. --Son Goharotto 20:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move Hercule (Dragon Ball) to Mister Satan
It's happening again. Place your vote/comment on the respective talk page for which name Wikipedia should use; a censored name, or an orignal name. Power level (Dragon Ball) 15:13, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
