Template talk:Songs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This needs to be fixed, redirected from films to songs. --Fantailfan 01:16, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I've only done one template, but
 </noinclude><includeonly>{{#switch:{class} |FA= |A= |GA= |B= |Start= |Stub= |Dab= |Template= |Cat= |= |#default= }}</includeonly>
still points to Films.--Fantailfan 11:11, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Need to add importance categories too. --kingboyk 08:53, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Classes
Editprotected Can the template have some text as guidance on whether class should be inputted as "B" or "B-Class" etc, so that editors do not need to dig into the template to check how to assign a rating?
Parasite 09:10, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- This would still be welcome, especially for those of us who don't work with the project templates very often. --zenohockey 04:19, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Small option
Could someone add the small option to this template?— miketm - Queen WikiProject - 05:00, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Done. – Luna Santin (talk) 03:22, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Small problem, see Talk:Bohemian Rhapsody. The image size has to be changed to {{#ifeq:{}|yes|30px|100px}}

[edit] Image
Could we use a free image, such as Image:Nuvola apps juk.png or Image:Nuvola apps kscd.png? -KingpinE7 01:03, 18 April 2007 (UTC) edit protected
- At the very least, can we have an image that doesn't misspell the word "Vinyl" in its title? That's just embarassing. Either of these images would be fine, though a photograph would still be preferable, even though this image is not that great. --lincalinca 12:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- Image:Vynil record.jpg looks free enough to me, and I doubt that any reader cares that the title, which is not displayed, is misspelled. Sandstein (talk) 21:02, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Req: Change category

Please change Category:WikiProject Songs to Category:WikiProject Songs templates. --PEJL 19:59, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Template is broken, image is too large
editprotected There's an ifeg with a G that should be ifeq in the code which causes the image to be way too large. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 10:58, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List Class
The List class still makes articles appear unassessed as is evident on Talk:Aerosmith singles discography. It would be helpful if it can be fixed so they no longer appear as unassessed. Orfen User Talk | Contribs 21:40, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Also the Category class still makes article appear unassessed as is evident on Category talk:Anna Vissi songs. It would be helpful of this could be fixed as well. Orfen User Talk | Contribs 01:50, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- In passing, might I make the comment that you'd get more people assessing the Class of an article if it was displayed in the template - if it's not visible, people assume that Class isn't supported. As a second suggestion, might I point out Template:WPBannerMeta, which is a template for creating banner templates, thus allowing normal people to set them up without worrying about minor screwups like some of the above? Once you've converted to that template, then adding things like List and Cat would be a question of just adding "yes" to the appropriate line of the template.
