[edit] Use of phone on Cingular network in Oregon

I realize this phone is capable of only GSM 1900. I am very struck by the features of the phone and want to understand the Cingular GSM 1900 coverage in Oregon...anyone?

I've had trouble finding coverage maps for each individual band as well. Generally, 1900MHz is used in the US by both Cingular and T-Mobile, while the former also uses 850MHz and the latter 900MHz. I think each carrier may rely more on one band than the other in certain areas, so I've always been on the safe side and never purchased a phone without 850MHz (I'm in Chicago and use Cingular.) This means that I currently can't use this phone or the Nokia n90 until they release a quad-band versions. That's certainly not out of the realm of possibility, since the W810 is the quad-band successor to the W800. It just takes time, unfortunately. I will buy that W860 (or whatever they call it) when it is created. My recommendation for you, then, is to hold off as well; you can't be certain that you will have adequate coverage with this phone as long as it's missing the 850MHz band! 67.175.75.186 01:35, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flash light or led flash or pure photolight

On the sonyericsson website, W850i is stated to have just photolight but not xenon flash like K800i. However, the shape and look of the 'photolight' seems to be LED flash. So, is it xenon flash, led flash, or pure photolight which can be used as torch light? ADouBTor 08:45, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

LED photolight usable as a torchlight. no flash, neither led nor xenon. -- ExpImptalkcon 13:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To Do list

integrate the "Specifications" list into the infobox and turn it into article prose. Anything that can't be moved out of the specs list should be deleted. JayKeaton (talk) 18:33, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
