Sonya Kearns

Sonya Kearns is a former teenage actress, best known as Chrissy Mainwaring in the long-running BBC school drama, Grange Hill. She appeared in the show from 1988 to 1992.
Chrissy's most famous storyline was becoming pregnant by her older boyfriend in the 1991 series. She had the baby, but was forced to quit school to look after him. It was one of the first times underage pregnancy had been tackled by a UK soap.
Sonya is believed to be no longer acting.
