Sonya Eddy (from Concord, California) is an American actress. She majored in Theatre and Dance at UC Davis and received her B.A. in 1992. Eddy is a licensed vocational nurse (LVN).
Eddy’s character on General Hospital, RN Epiphany Johnson, is a no-nonsense, knowledgeable, experienced, and slightly dominant nurse who keeps the rest of her co-workers in line. In 2007, Eddy became an original cast member of the General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital: Night Shift while maintaing her day job on GH.
In August 2007, Eddy was signed to a contract with GH. [1]
