Sony Imagesoft was a subsidiary of Sony established in the early 90's. The main focus was publishing and developing games for 16-bit consoles and PC. With the arrival of the PlayStation game console, the subsidiary was later dismantled and absorbed into Sony Computer Entertainment, as Sony Interactive Studios America, which later became 989 Studios.
