The Sony Ericsson Z530, released in 2006, is a mobile phone manufactured by Sony Ericsson. The Z530 is similar with its predecessor Z520, with external memory slot, and drawback on display.

The Z530 is a 'clamshell' style phone that weighs 93 grams. The Z530 has a camera (on its flip-up front) that can take digital photographs at VGA resolution, as well as capture short movie clips at 128x96 or 176x144 pixel resolutions.

It supports WAP 2.0 and GPRS. Wireless connectivity options include infrared and Bluetooth.

The Z530 has two displays: an interior 65,536-colour, 128x160-pixel LCD and an exterior monochrome display. It supports polyphonic ringtones and mobile games in Java (J2ME) format.

It is equipped with an external memory slot of capacity up to 2 GB but is compatible with M2 memory cards only.
