From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sonoma Wire Works is a company based in Los Altos, California that develops audio software. Their best known product is RiffWorks recording software, which is designed for use by guitar players. The company was incorporated in 2003.
Sonoma Wire Works began in an outbuilding in Sonoma County, California. Three audio engineers (Doug Wright, Daniel Walton, and David Tremblay), who worked in the audio industry for over 20 years at various companies, wanted to create an easy and fun recording application for guitarists. The result of their work is RiffWorks with the integrated InstantDrummer, RiffLink and RiffCaster technologies.
